Starting today, December 9, 2024, Lufthansa has launched a direct flight service from Munich (MUC) to São Paulo (GRU). This service operates on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays each week, utilizing the Airbus A350—an aircraft known for its modernity and efficiency in fuel consumption.
This new route enhances the economic and cultural connections between Germany and Brazil. Specifically, it positions Munich as a growing hub for Brazilian tourists, with the city experiencing a 17 percent increase in overnight stays in 2024, making Brazil the fifth largest international tourist market for Munich.
